Saturday fun, but no dad

It is quite apparent that Dylan will be 2 in 10 days the terribleness has begun. His new favorite thing to do is to answer every question with "no" or "nope" even if its something he wants to do. It does not matter the activity the first answer is always no. I guess the true parenting has began. Lucky for him he's so darn cute.

also................
Today me and Dylan went to Lowe's to take part in a building activity they hold for kids there. Dylan had a good time while we built a "land sail"...but all he cared is that he got to hammer. With Josh being out of town at a conference it made today interesting, not to mention I thought the project was kind of hard, but then again I'm not to handy. So trying to read the directions and keep Dylan from hammering everything in site became a challenge without Josh's help, but it all ended well and he had a great time & he earned his first patch for his work vest.

Nice Weather!

Finally some consistently beautiful days! Which makes everything better, Dylan loves to be outside! And he gets to wear all of his cute summer clothes I have been dying to put on him.

Here are some pictures I took today.

Tagged by Christina

Ten years ago:
I was 12. So I was in middle school playing sports and being terribly awkward.

To do list:
1. Organize our bedroom.
2. Clean out the refrigerator
3. Scrapbook
4. Start working out & dieting

5 snacks I enjoy:
1. Cookies
2. Moon Pies (heated in the microwave!)
3. Chips & Dip
4. Any kind of fruit
5. Scooby Doo gummies

5 foods I love:
1. Taco Salad (I could eat it everyday!)
2. Pizza
3. Sweet & Sour Chicken
4. Cereal
5. Vegetable Pizza

What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?

I w0uld pay off all bills and student loans! Then we would travel with our family and friends all over the world and let Josh live his dream of truly being a lifetime student at any and all schools of his choice. I would start and run a private school for children with Autism. I would hire the Super Nanny to be my personal lifetime consultant.

5 places I have lived: (only two places)
1. South Point, OH (20 some years)
2. Lafayette, IN (since August)

Favorite quote:
Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth.” – Mark Twain

I have completed my tag. :-)

The Reason I Go To School

This is the first time I've posted to the blog. Since I'm missing Sarah and Dylan pretty bad at this point, I figured I'd post some favorite pics of them. Its these pics that I look at to help me remember why I chose to be a student for more than half a decade. The pics are also the motivation I have to finish. If it weren't for Sarah and Dylan, then I think my life would just be insanity. Well, I guess it is still sometimes, just in a different way.

Dylan with his music idol and his namesake looming over his head.

She'll kill me for posting pics of her, but I love this one.

Mommy, I have no clue how all that cereal got into the floor. Must have been Daddy?

But, I'll help you clean up after that guy.

Daddy and Dylan recording their next hit.
Shhh, Daddy, don't tell mommy we just had some cookies!

Memories

We didn't have anything new to write, but thought we would share some of the old.
