It's been a while - sorry

It has been a long time since our last post. Things have been crazy busy, and you would think that being stuck inside due to the cold weather with leave plenty of time for posting, but it mostly leaves time for studying or finding things to do to keep up from going crazy!
We were super excited when my parents decided last minute to come up and spend Valentines day with us. Dylan loves when his Mawmaw and Papaw visit as you will soon tell. They always help us so much, and Dylan could'nt ask for better playmates. So needless to say it was a perfect weekend.
Here are some pictures to get us started again.
Mom helping Dylan make jello hearts for me and Josh.
Dylan and Dad enjoying the gifts Papaw & Meemaw Fetty sent...aren't they cute! Thank you guys! He loves them.

Our trip to CEC where we ran into the McKenzie's. (Dyl and Ezra are destined to be best buddies)

MY FAVORITE! Dylan celebrating his bowl!

I don't know what they are doing. I was in class. Knowing my dad I am sure it is scientific and educational.

Dylan with Sam (the large alligator he got for Valentiens Day from my parents)

A little blurry, but this is the import from a local dougnut store back home, he seems a tiny bit excited to get it..lol

We had a great V-day! Hope yours was great as well...

Snowy Day!

Today we took advantage of the beautiful snow! Dylan was so excited when he woke up and saw snow, so we promised him after lunch that he could go play. I hate the cold weather, but if it has to be cold I prefer it to snow. That way there is at least something to distract me from the cold, and to have fun with, which is exactly what we did.
Dylan sleigh riding (being Santa), which I suppose makes me the lone reindeer.

My little man in ALL his gear!

Our snow man isn't very good, but he's what you get when you have the patience of a 2 yr. old with a carrot in his hand to stick on as a nose. He was happy with it!

Aren't they cute!

Christmas Lights & Train Ride

Tonight we went to Central Park to see Santa Clause and take a train ride around the park to look at all the Christmas lights. Dylan had so much fun! We also did some ice skating, which he was so exited about! I could go on and on about the night, but I will just show you some photos. It is so nice to be home and hanging out with our family. I forgot how much I missed them.

I love this picture of Dylan and my dad. This is from the train rides.
with my parents on the train...they had as much fun as he did

Christmas with the McKenzies

Sunday night we did our Christmas with Jonathan, Christina, Ezra and Annika, exchanging gifts and eating treats. The kids all loved what they got, but this was the favorite by far! The perfect gift for 2 yr old's! Thanks guys!

Oh (poor) Christmas Tree!

We finally got around to putting our beautiful tree up, and it stayed beautiful for a few HOURS! Dylan loved plucking the bulbs off and informing us that he was "picking apples". Which he then took those "apples" to his room and decorated the tiny tree my grandparents had gave us and we used until this Christmas. But it was beautiful for a small time and he loves playing with the tree so much that it seems a waste for it to just sit there and look pretty and him not be able to touch it, so we let him play.

Here are some pics of the tree as well as some of us that evening making Christmas Cookies and getting things ready.. Enjoy! We love and miss you all.
